The Ask
HOST THE ULTIMATE VIP EVENT
Nothing is more chaotic than a high-pressure, fast-paced conference like the annual RSA IT Conference. Pre-Pandemic attendance topped 45,000 people. But it’s an extremely important event – especially for industry leaders in the security sector. They needed the space to connect, discuss business and escape from the crowds in the convention space.
The Solution
TOTAL BRAND IMMERSION
We took over the Virgin Hotel in San Francisco. We immersed the entire hotel in the brand. From the outside in. Top to bottom. From event services, registration, security, venue services … to talent sourcing and attendee management, the Drury team did it all. The Palo Alto Networks brand and messaging was everywhere. And the Palo Alto Network’s takeover of the Virgin Hotel was one of the major highlights of the RSA conference.
The Highlights
Complete Branding Take-Over // Musical Guest Sheryl Crow // Q&A With Jake Gyllenhaal // Chef-Curated Menus, Whiskey Tastings // Intimate Meeting Spaces
For RSAC’s ‘Symphony Day,’ Palo Alto created a special offsite engagement for their guests at August Hall. Drury booked and managed former CIA Chief of Station Dan Hoffman as the keynote speaker.
Palo Alto CEO Nikesh Arora welcomed guests to this unique discussion about the impact of security on celebrities featuring acclaimed actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
"
Thank you to you and the extended team for all that you’ve done for us this week at RSAC, your team has really pulled out all the stops! I’m also incredibly grateful for such a warm welcome, and the flowers were a wonderful and surprise when I got back to my room, thank you so much.
"
I am super proud of this team and how you came together. We have lots of lessons learned. We will take what we have done and grow it over time and continue to build on this moment to foster stronger relationships with our customers and partners. Thank you for all your leadership, creativity, hard work, long hours and dedication. It takes a village, and this is a village I want to be a part of (and we need to get a picture of ALL of us!).
